Our most popular cupcakes are the Key Lime, Black Tie (Chocolate), Raspberry Waltz and Red Velvet. The Red Velvet is from the original recipe created at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NY in 1916 and people who know Red Velvet, love it with our cream cheese frosting but we also sold it topped with Italian Buttercream. The Key Lime is our moist sour cream cake, filled with our own Key Lime Curd (lime juice from Key West)...then topped with our Italian Meringue buttercream, and garnished with crushed graham cracker crumbs and lime zest. This is our signature cupcake and when we sold it at the farmer's market, we could hear people yelling "Oh My God" as they bit into it. The combination of the tart lime and the sweet buttercream with the moist sour cream cake has had people tell us it's better than Key Lime pie. We built a business around this cupcake.
